Wiring
Let's face it, at one time or another we have had to deal with an excess of wires that could be described as just a bit of an eyesore. It looked great when the tv first went up on the wall...then those pesky wires connecting your components to the tv had to go and ruin it all. What a shame! We can turn that around for you, or keep it from happening in the first place if we are mounting the tv and taking care of cable management in your Seattle home. The first decision is whether to hide the wires inside the walls or use external cable covers. There are pros and cons to both.
Wire Covers
For an install that is of a less than permanent nature or where it is just not as desirable to cut holes and go the distance to get everything inside the walls, the wire and cord covers for walls option for your Seattle residence is the way to go! The wire and cord covers for walls in your Seattle home come in white but can be painted to match the color scheme of your room!
In-Wall Power & Cabling
And now for the piece-de-resistance, the creme del la creme, the full monty.... your cables will be "in like Flynn" ...... inside the wall that is! You've waited long enough.... you're movin' on up!! Pictured here you see the wall plate from the "Power and Cabling" kit that we carry as part of our cable management system in Seattle. If you only need power without any audio or video cables running then we can just do a power outlet alone. If the installation is over a fireplace, we advise running at least 1 HDMI cable for possible future use even if you don't need it right now. Lastly, an important note.... the way we run power is known as "Power Relocation". Click on the "Power" link at the top to learn more!
The term "Power Relocation" just means that at the lower end of the power run there is going to be a plug that will get plugged into a power strip or nearby outlet as pictured to the right. For hard-wired power (connected directly to your electrical system) you would need to hire an electrician. For other jobs, our cable management experts in Seattle can take care of everything!
